Split screen?

For discussion of anything relating to multiplayer gameplay in the Unreal series, including co-op.

Okay, this is a combination of Multiplayer Matters and Content Creation but I guess more of a Multiplayer.

As I am making a kind of a racing game (well, actually, not, I'm considering it) - a whipeout style - in Unreal 227, a question arose.
Is it possible to log in two players in one game, on one client, with different configs (made from scratch of course) and play a split screen through Canvas Portal on the HUD?
If you think it is, who - in the nearest feature - would be kind enough to help me coding the log in part?

Thank you for your time

Thanks Bob.

The thing is = racing game. No mouse is needed. That is I know I can make 2 fake pawns.

That is a playerpawn that can't move but will send input to 2 actrors - player 1 fake, player 2 fake. It doesn't need any on-line support so there's no problem really I guess... But still I'd love to be able to actually add 2 pawns, not fake pawns.

2 players on 1 keyboard - numpad is taken into account separately.
