Concept is made, now for the finishing. We (Shivaxi and I) are planning to recreate Descent: FreeSpace – The Great War in Unreal. Now I have some issues with rotating, but it is playable. We're planning on making different ships with different weapons on it. Will give more intel once there is more to give :D

That's the heavy artillery terran fighter...that's why its so bulky looking. The Hercules irrc is what it's called. holds 6 main energy weapons and a shitton of missiles.

The herc sucks... No seriously it does.

Compared to the Myrmidon or the Ulysses, the Hercules looks like a bloated POS.

Hell I still fly the Apollo even though it's obsolete to all hell.

By the way I've made countless space fighter games for Unreal 1, only a few still survive on my hard drive. Maybe we can collaborate Bleeder?

We can make the herc do whatever we want :P and remember this is my project as well. =p

Also, finally fixed the uv wraps and textures yeeesss! \o/















As for collaborating...we have a very specific goal in mind for this. We want to get as close to freespace 1 as we can. So we're not gonna leave out the herc just cause you think it sucks XD. Were the Myrmidon and Ulysses even in fs1? I'm not doing fs2 stuff. But if you have some secret to fixing the rotation so it ignores unreal's stupid physics, then we could use help with that xD.

Are you going to hack in a map where if you kept going on in one direction you wind up out of the opposite end? I tried making a warpzone that acted like that before.
