Hi guys.
I have a Deathmatch level for Unreal Tournament that I've been hanging onto for the better part of a decade. First it was a layout for a UT2KX level that I never could get to work right, then it was a DM level intended to be seen in a early/failed version of XSM for what would have been a Residual Decay release in 2007...but we all know what happened there. Bits of it have popped up in promotional shots, but basically I just want to get it out there since I haven't release anything in like ever. This is but a beta. So play it and tell me what sucks. It's a big open DM level so 8 to 10 bots should fit comfortably.

Kudos to Hourences and UArchitect for the texture files. SG-Tech from one of the UT bonuspacks is also used, so have that. Some S3TC in use here, so enable that if you want.

A good map
Issues:
- Why the invisible collision on the curved window things? You can easily jump to them from the sniper nest, or at least with the Translocator. Just felt weird being able to sorta walk on them but not all the way to the edge of the glass because of invisible barriers.
- Theme is weird. It's like an... industrial... something? In the snow? But is made with stone and wood? And is kinda falling apart. Just doesn't really seem like an actual PLACE. But this is a DM map and that's pretty common.
Other than that I had fun blowin' stuff up and that's about the most you can hope for on a DM map so good jorb. More detailed comments after I play it again for more than a 5-minute carnagefest.

LOL at the pic
-On the windows, I remember trying several times to have a invisible bsp barrier and it always opened Pandora's Box 'o errors. Perhaps I'll tend to the block actors better.
-On theme, just a tech map. I chose a cold outdoor skybox for the Zeto glass texture since I liked how it looked for the curved windows. That's...the only reason I think. Just a simple generic indus romp.

Holy crap a new Proph map! If I'd seen this yesterday I would have played it immediately, but I've just parted with my unreal installs. Might be able to give it a go on the weekend.
Lmao at EXU pic. Did you test it with normal weapons?

It's their downloader-tool bar junk.

You might want to reinstall your OS. Not even kidding. Sounds like you've got adware and I don't believe anti-virus software actually deals with viruses properly. Only surefire way is to nuke the system.

So what?, doesn't mean you have to install it. Press the download link top right, wait for the popup to load (chances are if you block that one, the download link won't appear), wait for the download prompt to appear, start the download (DM-BetaLevelThing.zip), close the popup.
Mediafire isn't what it used to be (it didn't have the confusing ILivid banners) but for an internet user who doesn't blindly click every popup or banner it shouldn't cause any problems.
What you're trying to do is to force a user to get a hotmail address so he can (voluntarily) upload stuff for you. OK, I actually don't like skydrive so [SARCASM]I want Mr. Prophet to get a Rubbishmail address and mail it to my Rubbishmail. [/SARCASM]

I've had mediafire for a while and never had any of the problems you said you saw. I actually like it because it's real easy for me to jump in, up something, and get a link to people. I haven't heard any complaints about the links I've sent out until now. If you can't download it, I'm open to other options if other people are having issues as well.

Mediafire is fine, but Google Drive is a really nice free alternative.

Yes but google drive requires the app they have first before you can use it.

I find mediafire to be great chiefly because they support download accelerators. It means I can grab most files in under a minute at 1-10 megabytes a second regardless of filesize. Whereas at a lot of other sites I'm capped at 50-200kbps and have to wait 3 minutes for a 3 meg file.
