So yeah I just want to go through the good ol' deathmatch spirit, someone with more knowledge in UT1 multiplayer could list the best MP mappacks? Stuff like the old Derdak stuff, low-poly packs, etc...

Thanks.

Just a few packs by eyeballing my Maps folder:
UTR
FOT
CTC
LP
ORM
TDC

Almost every map with these prefixes in the name are quality stuff. Also, don't forget the UT Modern Pack and/or Classic packs! ;)

I tend to play a lot of teamDM in the Serpentine maps with the CSWeapons mod.

J's Maps site offers a nice selection of DM maps, although pathing completeness varies, but many have fun interactive elements and hidden areas, so add a little of the SP feel to DM maps.

I just noticed that a lot of UT files storages (almost all?) all practically dead. Even UT-Files seems not working. Literally only medor's website is the better living one of them all now.

Is this for bot play or online play? If it is for bot play, I should just upload my whole DM map archive sometime. :P I have about 1,500 maps that I collected over the years. I personally modified all the ones that had bad/mediocre bot support to make sure they all supported bots perfectly. With Xmaps, you never know what will pop up next when set to random. All the maps are at least above average looking, or they have great gameplay if they are just average looking. Heck, even my bot collection with Xbots is probably unrivaled: hundreds of custom skins and models, many of which I modified myself to have better team skins and sounds. I thought about sharing it back in the day, but it is probably too big in filesize.

Bots lol there's probably no luck I can find people online playing these maps without mods involved. I managed to get everything I needed (found ut99maps, good website with a lot of popular MP maps) and well feels good to play again fast-paced action and my awareness got surprisingly even better than before.
