I have finally palyed all the maps form this pack. Generally the build is usually above average - there are no flaws. But it doesn't astonish either ( well, maybe Kamah but about that map I will say more later). Lighting - it's there. Textures - there are textures, Sacrimosa-good texturing ( although i hate neotechnoegypt theme , but I can see that author spent a lot of time on this - or maybe im mistaken but it looks like a good job). Gameplay.... Maybe, I say maybe Ravage could get onto the servers as a duel map but its to big, and too small for soemthing reasonable obove 1on1 ( unless if it had some cool spots like get armor-get killed spot or show some skillz to blow me through this small window with your shock combo, homeboy ). Other thing is that these maps won't find their places on hardcore servers is because of non ut'99 stylistics - items sounds etc. - this is something you don't do if you wanna get your map into the next world cybergames whatever edition, or good hardcore server at least. But as a casual "hey look at this forest map, it looks cool, you cant see me behind the trees" maps they do just fine. And Kamah ( i heard alot about this map around gere so Ive decided to write something more about it lol ) - Looks cool, has nice places and all, has all the trees and stuff but its completely unplayable because of the... trees ( and plants) and wierd build of natural parts, one can't swftly move around the place, you get blocked very often while dodging. Such stuff works fine for singleplayer stuff, like " im hiding behind the bush they cant see me lol" but in multi maps it just doesn't work ( check out Antalus( ?) in ut2004, you guys think why they didn't put tall grass and huge plants everywhere? ). The whole pack is like this map with snow ( there's one in the pack, forgot the name - it has snow it, has some ice... but you dont feel the cold in there... Its 4/10 for me - the pack is out there, some maps are better some are worse, most of them look cool, but they lack the most important thing taht makes you remember the map and play a match whenever you start ut - juicy joy. Of course that's only my opinion here so don't flame me - I tried to judge this stuff as a player. Oh and - why didn't you use ut99 items ( it completely DESTROYS ut'99 atmosphere - if you guys like ut2k4 / ut3 stuff so much why not make maps for those games?? That's just my couriosity.

Well then be happy, you dont have anything to download from us ever again, if you hate this stuff so much. You will make your provider very happy. Sry, I can't help it. It is a single twist of fate. I hope you understand that. Just look out in the internet for some "normal" more classic ut1 maps.

I did and beside some of Kamah criticism "to many trees" and one of the snow/ice maps (not cold enough) it is obvious that you have a problem with that:

Discussing stuff people don't like in your maps should important part of gaining skillz Crev, to be honest i don't get why you got so iritated, f.e i always apreciate good criticism, because it helps. Next time ill just flame people for stuff i don't like lol.

Taking constructive criticism is lesson one in game design... you can't release something and then expect only good reviews. At least Kaka took the time to leave detailed feedback.

UT99 doesn't exist. It's called UT1 for YHVH's sake.
Don't worry Creavion, you've got all my support for this pack. And as for the UT3 items, they work much better in the gameplay department: more visible, cooler-looking, better armor system, more powerups. Gameplay > Atmosphere wins.
UT1 has an overrated, generic atmosphere of its own that I do not consider. UT3's themes have more personality, similar to what I felt in U1.
At least Creavion didn't make anything worth 4/10 to be honest.

At least that's only my opinion and 4/10 is for gameplay of the whole pack, Ravage would get more 6-7.
