Btw I don't know what are certain items in the jackrabbit game. Now I noticed I haven't used some, I've learn some in the "botmatch like" session, also I didn't use the strafe keys all the time lol, I haven't figured it had strafe keys .
I didn't figure out the fire ammo too, if I used it in the last battle I could have won that, instead in the last battle I was lazy to switch anything plus I jumped over and did some mistake which lead into my death.
I don't think it is good to jump straight at the third title while I have never played the other ones right?
EDIT: Anyone know if the old Jazz games are downlodable for free nowadays? I think it should be or something, I have never checked them out.

Both JJ games are downloadable as abandonware. Just google around a bit and you should be able to find them. I would recommend the original JJ over it's sequel, since the second game may have had better graphics, but the game was easy as **** and was waaay shorter.

Abandonware? At your service, gents. As far as JJ2 is concerned...

Thx (downloading) ,
From the videos I've seen it looks like the first one is more of a hack of Sonic games than original game, I played one hack a long one (never played original ones) and it plays simmilar way it seems, sometimes it seems like a parody of these games or something.

Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Just a question, I found at wikipedia this:
At the download you posted there were only the three shareware levels and not the two other ones. Where can I get these two ones?

Jazz Jackrabbit 2: The Secret Files Shareware Edition
Released in 1999, this is a shareware game to promote The Secret Files. It is identical to the standard shareware version, but it includes the ability to play as Lori, as well as two new single-player levels in addition to the standard shareware version's levels.

Btw, is there a way how to play with sound and without that messy dos box emulator? Because when I go fullscreen it gets laggy and the dosbox is hard to use, this version I cannot figure out much. Last time I used DOS box was back in 2004 and I remeber being it much easier to use.

The main reason is CPU cycling. As for the sound, DOSBOX uses DirectSound afaik, you just need to set up some bogus values and - running through DOSBOX - apply the same values to Jazz.
As for Jazz 2, MY link includes The Secret Files (full episode), Shareware Demo episode, Christmas Chronicles episode, some homecooked levels and the basic campaign's 4 episodes. Look closely before commenting and regarding my releases, it would be nice if you asked ME instead of Wikipedia ;P No offence, buddy.

Shareware secret files is missing in the package then. It is special. It hss the original shareware plus some two unique SP levels.
About sound, I meant with dosbox I can hear the sound right but the game is so slow in fullscreen and without dosbox it runs fine but withiout sound.
