Subject: Ebay...

maaannnnnnnn..... I was SOOOOO close!

I saw a usb flash memory "stick", which is in this case not really a stick, but it's a micro drive of 12Gb for a great price (was just at $5!). I bid on it at the last minute.. and count down (there is a refresh option on the page).
10 seconds to go: someone bids....
LAST (!!!!!!!!!!!!!) second, someone else bids and overbids me...

 :x

have you ever had something annoying like that? Share your frustration!
(I'm at work, so I couldn't "go ahead" with my frustration.... :P )

I share my truth to have never used EBay or any kind of Amazon clones.

this reminds me of: once my brother called me from his vacation to do a bid on something he urgently needed (something for a dj-deck and soundsystem that was pretty expensive if bought regular!), it went for a few euros, nobody cared and there were no bids for weeks, but i still did a bid on the last several seconds, and oh my someone else managed to bid the last microsecond :P

so i was like, wow, thats insane, however my brother... i remember he was pretty furious about it for weeks (musta ruined a big party  )

Darkon: I've had that happen to me, and I've also BEEN that last second bidder. I haven't been proud of myself for doing it, as it's not how I feel the "game" should really be played, but I guess it got me the stuff I wanted...
Life is what you make of it.

this is the only right way to get stuff cheap on auctions
and that's just what they're for right ? :)

You can find auction 'snipers' pages on internet, they'll do a last second bid for you

Never used them tho

....unless you search for something people don't search for....
As in.. searching for "8" when you're looking for 8 Gb memory sticks. For some reason the masses search for "8Gb" and NOT "8" (while in the right place of course). Got me a nice deal yesterday...
