I recently discovered that catchthatgoblin (notorious crazy music track known for being used in the ONP credits) was composed by skaven: the same dude who worked on the razorback track for UT (and maybe some others too, I haven't checked). Apparently him and his group were superfamous in the tracker/mod/demoscene back in the day. They released a free album in 2011, Future Crew - Metropolis. Catch that Goblin is track 5, and track 9 is a sequel, The Goblin Returns!.

The things you know. Anyways; here's a link to the album if you're interested:

My understanding is that the album is supposed to be free so I don't think I'm breaking any rules.

Some of the best tracked music out there. The Unreal soundtrack definitely draws on some of the sounds present here.

Awesome. Thanks for hunting and posting.
I listen to tracker mods every day, as Winamp plays most formats.

The tracker scene is still churning out loads of cool free music, and no-one really needs to mess about with converting MP3s

*EDIT*
Oh, this is not a collection of tracker files, but MP3s made from tracker files.
Never understood the point of distributing as MP3s, when the whole point of tracker files is the small size.

Probably either 1) to make it more accessible to everyone (as few know what tracker files even are) or 2) to make it non editable.

Some of those songs definitely remind me of ONP.

The reason why everyone feels Unreal borrows from other songs is because the samples are constantly ripped and\or shared across composers for years and years. Most of these samples even come from the old Amiga 500 days. Hell some of these samples even found their way to the GUS patches distributed on the official drivers..

There's also the fact (a few modules even has him admitting it openly) that Alexander Brandon's style sometimes ends up mimicking something Andrew Sega would of made.
