Advice with the Unreal Books

So I've finally managed to get my hands on prophets power and hard crash (the novels.)
I know that the publisher or whatever printed them wrong so the order is a bit messed up. Before I read anymore of the books I wanna check about this. So what I know is that its reverse order and that chapters 16 and 17 switch places with 14 and 15.

Anything else I should know? I dont wanna read the books wrong.

There was a fan-made trailer that was pretty good:

Legit if someone makes an Unreal movie I will cry tears of joy just because it happened, regardless of whether it was good or not.

Here is some fan fiction as well. Easily found on the net, but here are local copies for offline reading (just the webpages saved).

Unreal 2 parody fan fiction. Kinda funny.

There is no wrong order. Read the first one, then the second.

There are problems with the chronology, among other things it seems.

One more plug for the very thoughtfully written e-book "Escape to Na Pali: A Journey to the Unreal". A must-read for fans of Unreal.

A sample of the type of writing that is in the book can be read here:

I do actually have physical copies. But the books are not completley printed correctly.

Maybe I should reinstate my question a bit. The Unreal novels, from what I've read of them so far, and from reviews printed on this sight, have many printing issues. The one primary one being that Prophets Power is actually book #1, but its printed incorrectlly. So is Hard Crash.

So from anyone who has knowledge about this sort of thing, is there anything else I have to worry about? I don't mind reading PDF's completley, but I would perfer to just read the physical copies and know if a chapter or 2 is in the incorrect order.

TLDR: I have physical copies, but I want to know of other reprinting issues before I read them.

Did you read this thread?:
http://unrealsp.org/viewtopic.php?p=57979#p57979

One of the authors is cited there, giving his recommendations of what order to read the sections of the 2 books in.

Specifically, Ryan Hughes is quoted as saying:
One last little snafu: chapters 14 and 15 of HARD CRASH got switched with chapters 16 and 17. Read 16 and 17 first, then go back and read 14 and 15. ... If you want to read what WE wrote, in the way we wrote it, then get both books, start with PROPHET'S POWER and read just the "First Occupation" sections, then continue with the "First Occupation" sections in HARD CRASH. That will be Dean's book. Then go back to PROPHET'S POWER and read the "Second Occupation" sections, and finish off with those sections in HARD CRASH. That will be my book. (Don't forget the two chapters out of order.)

I know, I know, it shouldn't take a road map to read a book! Presumably when they reprint these they'll fix the problem, but for now, that's the way to get the best reading experience.

It occurs to me now that my posting the books might just be illegal at worst or perhaps somehow unethical at best. The books are clearly past their earning days, but it may be best to err on the side of caution.

I will pull the link for now until some more legally-minded (or morally-minded?) people ring in with their thoughts.
