If anybody feels offended here, it was not my intention. I also dont want to ruin the authors thread here now. Just noted that not everybody seems to know that it is sometimes possible to enlarge certain pictures. Thats all. And sorry for the surreptitious advertising, an accidental side effect. I would have better said that in my thread. So .. sry for this small offtopic thingy.

My fault. I thought that my sence of humor would be preffered and understood by everybody. No more spoiler pics from now on. Forgive me for all inconveniences... Or whatever this one is spelled.

Oh, & in the video of the notes taking funtion, the PDA on the floor is really inconspicious. I bet a lot of people would miss collecting that if it stays in that place. Make it easier to find in the finished game.

You won't be picking up the PDA.

Ok, question. For some time I've been trying to finish the PDA script. And, some functions are done, like own notes you've seen, Tip register and inventory display, computer hacking system, file tranfer and quest log. Question is simple. Besides games, what other functions would be useful?
I'm thinking about 3D Map system... Though dunno know how useful would it be. What else you'd see useful and worth implementing?

Yeah voice logs would be quite useful. But don't forget that everything you'll draw on scripted textures are limited to one palette (one used by ST).
Madness, as you know, is like gravity…all it takes is a little push!

Holy cow, I never heard of that! Guess Scripted Textures aren't as full of possibilities as I thought...

But you can change palletes in game
Music player possibly will be also implemented.
Objectives GPS is not a good idea, as levels in Unreal are on many levels.
Voice logs... Hmmm... Good.
Later on I'll try to show you how 3D map works... I've got an idea, but dunno if it works.
