Not very complex, but it does the job as a boss fight and transition between major segments. The way there's an alternative method of killing the Stone Titan is also a nice touch (along with the intro to it).

It's a shame that Veloraend barely made it in. From what I've read in Uberserker's oh so awesome trivia thread, the Velora maps used to basically be the "Oh shit its getting into final level territory" maps. Veloraend is still badass on its own though. Love the atmosphere, the Stone Titan fight is awesome, and the alternate "dunk the titan into lava with bridge" win condition cracks me up. Mostly because the switch actually blinks like "Hey this is a switch! Press it!" No other switch in the game does that.

Does it really do that? I have never stopped to look at it much, I like killing the titan the old fashioned way, after all.

Probably the fairest assessment of the map. :tup:

I've seen Titans utilised in more impressive ways since then, but back in the day this map managed to be memorable. Good atmosphere indeed.

PS: the first time playing this level I unsurprisingly beat the Stone Titan the regular way!

The thing is that it's supposed to be a "pass" but in reality it doesn't connect anywhere else.

Unless it's named it this way for the teleport but that's so artificial.
